That all does sound pretty darn wonderful. :) I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to have you here in Boston!!! Where do you think you'll be living? ~Cindyrella

Thanks. I can't wait to be there either! I feel like a manic little hummingbird when I visit now because I flit in for a day or two and always have to leave again soon. It'll be nice to finally get to know my way around the city and have weekends off to actually do fun things there.

For the summer, I'm just putting most of my things in storage and crashing at Andrew's. It'll be cramped but his lease is up in September so we'll be moving again shortly. We're looking at places near where he lives now but we might relocate to JP. Either place would give me good access to the buses that I can take to work, so we'll see.

Hehe, "awesome" is the perfect word to describe it all--in both its current meaning and its old meaning of "inspiring awe/terror." I'm excited but I'm a little intimidated by all the rapid changes too!

(I never got around to commenting because I was swamped, but congrats on your show! It looked like a great production and your work looked very nice.)

Thank you so much!

Haha, and indeed I can't wait to get to that moment of accomplishment myself, I'll be dancing in the streets and hugging everyone I see!

Congradulations and good luck with everything! Your job sounds amazing!

I plan to start dancing the instant I get this huge thesis-monkey off my back (when I finally present my research at our symposium in early June)!

Re: the job, I'm joining the curatorial staff at a smallish but very cool gallery at a public art college. They bring in amazing contemporary artists for exhibitions and residencies with the MFA programs. I'm so thrilled that I'll actually get to meet and work with some of the people I've admired, researched, and written about over the years. It will be a tough job (lots of responsibilities and overtime) but I think I'll learn a ton and it will be fun too.

I miss you too! I think Henry and I are going to be going on another cross-country jaunt from May 18 to 30 or so, and I'm sad that'll be right in the thick of your scheduling crises! I will keep you posted if we end up Massachusettsy, but I know you'll be superbusy so don't worry we won't demand to be entertained! :) We will be previewing a few potential job schools for H and visiting around a bit -- Mauresa is in a musical we want to catch, and I'm going to pick up some of my dad's books from my mom's house... should be sort of nice! :)
