A Temple Affair
It was your everyday, average mission. Rodney had discovered serious energy readings right as they came up to the village and had been practically bouncing. They were close to what he thought a ZPM would yield, and seemed to get stronger the closer they were to the village.

Eyes
The first (second) thing he noticed were his eyes. Really, he noticed first that he was loud, that his panicked babbles carried. The second things he noticed were wide, frightened eyes, as blue as the sky. They were at his own height only because their owner was hanging upside down.

Hair
Hair. It was the first (second) thing he had noticed about Ronon. The first had been that he was really tall. The second, though, was the hair. Later on, after the fear had subsided, he had wanted to touch it. He was a scientist, after all; experiments were what he did. They looked so springy.
