Yesterday I lost a toenail.

I'm not joking.I don't know if any of you knew this but as a runner, my feet are a total disaster. And trust me, there's a good reason for this: I spent the first 5 months of my running career in sneakers that were not only a) too small for my feet, but also b) not the best shoes on the market for long-distance ( Read more... )

I know this is late, but Happy Easter, everyone.

In terms of spending time with my family and Dan, I had a great weekend.
But in terms of diet and exercise, it was horrible. And I hate myself right now.

I have nothing more to say at this point.
I just want it to be over.
For this feeling of self-loathing to just GO AWAY.

Let it be known that on Sunday, March 18, 2007...
for the first time...
I ran 10 MILES.
[In just over an hour and twenty minutes.]

I am beyond proud of myself right now.

Somehow I got through all of last night without eating dinner.
I don't know, I just never got hungry for it.
Weird.

My legs hurt.
And my right hip area.
Maybe running over 8 miles yesterday was a bad idea.
Good thing I'm not running today.
Unless I feel better this afternoon.
But I doubt it.

Happy Fat Tuesday, everyone.
Go eat a lot.

UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH. I hate chocolate.

I consumed tons of it last night. And I just consumed a ton of it right now.
I couldn't stop. It just tastes so damn good.

My stomach hurt so bad last night after Sarah's party. And I vowed this morning not to overeat that much chocolate again. But then... well... I found some good chocolate in my house ( Read more... )

Somehow I managed to get over 9 hours of sleep last night... and 9 hours of sleep the night before... probably just my body catching up from the night of my caffeine high. But still it's crazy to me. Hopefully all this sleep will help me have a good run ( Read more... )
