One day a package shows up at my door around lunch time. I look at it and wonder what I could have purchased. Then I remember the three CDs from Amazon. Today I found out the ugly truth. Not all AGP slots are created backward compatible. I purchased a ATI Radeon 9550 video card today during lunch. When I got home and tried to install it I realized the keys are different on my AGP slot. After reading the motherboard documentation I have AGP Rev. 1.0 which is not compatible with AGP Rev 3.0. Tonight I went on a quest for a workable 3D video card for my computer. Right now I am using a ATI Rage Pro 8MB video card. I have a GeForce 2 video card which works well in Linux, but fails miserably in Windows 2000. So I need a video card which can work in Linux and Windows.
