So cute! I've seen cats do this before. Puppies like to splash their water bowls, too, especially Labs.

I always put down a regular bowl of water when we're cleaning the fountain, and she practically plays/pounces in that thing with very little drinking going on! As nice as it is to have that little rug there, she's constantly shaking the paw and getting the walls and windows wet. I think being so damn cute is a function of evolution... a factor in their survival, if you will.

She does that every time? Wow...it almost looks like she's just cleaning her paws, but she only uses the right one. Cuteness.

She doesn't do it every time; I'd say about half the time. Cracked me up the very first time I saw her do it, though. I was almost disappointed the first time I saw her drink like "normal" because I thought I was going to miss the chance to video her doing this...

OMG!!! I am madly in love with her!!! How adorable is that! Does she ever drink it the 'normal' way? LOL!!

She does sometimes drink the normal way, but even that looks kinda funny. It's like she tries to drink at the very inner edge of the fountain where the pool and the dome meet.

I had no idea how many cats did this until I posted it on YouTube and saw all the videos of other cats doing it, too.
