Summer has had its moments this year, and though I have not really accomplished anything huge as I would have liked, there have been many great moments. I needed the break since this was my longest period without classes and the constant dealing with shit since returning to Loyola's Spring I last year. I went to IHOP with Mykie to meet the parents, Belita, and my aunt Norma. We were told to meet there for 2, they showed up at 2:30 (apparently church held them back).

OK, my peeps got it down today. The Advanced Digital Production class' final projects will be screened on Friday, May 4 in Bobet Hall Rm. 332 at Loyola. It will begin at 5 pm and go until we finish. Well, got some good news yesterday. One of my short stories got accepted into Loyola's literary magazine, ReVisions.

Next Tuesday night (1/16), I'll be reading some of my poetry from last semester for the Loyola/Tulane Reading Series called “1718.” The Columns Hotel (3811 St. Charles Ave.) is hosting the event.
