pianos and cakes oh my!
Found out today that our piano bench's borked. The lid support is almost 100% RIP, and one of the the hinges need replacement. How did it happen? Some idiot tried to close the bench's lid by bending the hinge backwards and succeeded. That resulted in one broken lid support, one damaged leg, and one disfigured hinge. Ensemble Auditions
Didn't make it to Orchestra again this year. No surprise however - there are too many people who play better than me this year. Next try is in two years - who knows what may happen then.

Pianos and course selection
For the last couple of days, I've been taking apart upright pianos and vacuuming the inside of it. It is actually quite interesting looking at the mechanism behind a piano, but the downside is the dust and whatever else trapped in the pianos. Out of 16 pianos, I've finished 11.
