Isn't it odd how things do change? High school isnt "normal" life but it can almost kill most of us emotionally. I talked to bullies and popular kids at class reunions and you would be amazed how they felt just like us ones who were either bullied, wallflowers, and unpopular, etc. They told me they hurt, thought people hated them and didn't like a lot about high school either. It scars us all to some degree it seems.
I confronted one guy who I had a very bad memory of what he did to me once. He totally apologized to me and had NO idea he had hurt me. He didn't recall the incident at all! What a lesson learned for me and what a relief to get that out in the open and done with. It seems at our later class picnics and reunions I was one of the popular ones!! GO FIGURE! LOL
I am sure you have learned a lot in life and changed, so he has too, just hope it is for the better. You just might make a great friend. Or find out he is still the same jerk...only one way to find out! Good luck with that!!
I didn't say I would trust him, I just forgave him. I always give people a second chance, Pam. Besides, if he does anything bad you KNOW I can take care of him now.
