RIP RICO
We had to euthenize Rico dog today. My dad has had him for nearly 9 years. Rico is one of the reasons my dad was comforted from my mom's death. This is incredibly suck time.
I already miss him. I just keep thinking I can't hold him any more. -

Birdies day 2
The cockatiels go berzerk if they are separated. I seriously mean that. They throw hissy temper tantrums if you take one out of the cage and not the other. The male throws a hissy if you take him out before the girl. If you ask her to Step Up she will nicely, but he will not unless you already have her, then he will come to you ( Read more... ) -
New Family Members (Birds)
Today I adopted 2 bonded cockatiels from a bird rescue. They are 12 years old and will not be separated. Had to go out immediately and buy a brand new cage. It ended up being a little more expensive than either Mike and I wanted to pay - but the cheapest cage they had that would be big enough for two grown cockatiels was the best way to go.
