I started to say, how does one, who is unsure as to whether she is lost herself, reassure another that he is not? But then I thought, if we're both unsure, we musn't be lost - if you can make out someone else in the fog, you must be somewhere. It's easy to forget where we're going, but I think I have a map in the glove compartment... just stay close where I can see you, and I'll find our way out.

I wish it were that easy, that I could lead us both out of this like I led the crowd outside the auditorium in through the back door... that I could just take charge and pull us both out. But I don't think it works that way. Maybe it can, but I don't know.

In the meantime, here's some provisions... a light, a tent... you'll have to find your own map. Take care, and watch out for CHUDs in the depths. Love you.
