So here I am in beautiful Berlin.

Couchsurfed for the first time in my life. The guy was really nice, but really stingy.

Brandenburger Tor, enormous gay clubs, mango ice cream, 2-euro pasta, copious amounts of beer, Bundestag, Soviet graveyard and a gay Dane.

I guess that sums it up so far.

Last night, I met up with a former German-Irish college from my translation company in Böblingen. We had coffee, dinner and a few laughs. She just broke up with her husband of 3 years in December and is now planning to move in with her new boyfriend in Düsseldorf. . . well, anyway, I was surprised. She is moving next week.
