This weekend was odd, in terms of what I did versus how I came out of it feeling.  I think I had a pretty good weekend -- I made homemade pizza on Friday night, hung out and played Rock Band on Friday and Saturday, and watched the game on Sunday.  And yet I feel like the weekend was a bit of a loss.  I think it was everything I watched on Sunday.

I watched the premier of Fringe tonight. Middle-eastern type wailing needs to be removed as an allowable leitmotif in movie music.  I appreciate Lisa Gerrard, and enjoy her music, but enough is enough.  It doesn't even mean anything is the worst part.  When Dead Can Dance did/popularized (and I use popularized loosely) the technique in the late 80s, it was fresh and original and well-done ( Read more... )
