This week has been nice because I only had fieldwork on Monday. Dr. Donahue is gone Tues-Fri for a conference and I can only see patients when he is there because of how the billing works. So Tuesday and Wednesday I got to observe eye surgeries at the Andersen Surgery Center. Last Tuesday I saw a cornea transplant surgery. That was amazing! The ( Read more... ) -

So I got a yeast infection from the antibiotic I was on for my mono/strep. So I had to go back to the clinic and get a prescription for that. Turns out that when I took the med. I had an allergic reaction to the two drugs. So I broke out in a million little red dots all over my body. So I had to back to the clinic and get a shot of steroids in my ( Read more... ) -

So right now I'm lounging on the couch watching Across the Universe and sipping on my frozen drink from Speedway. I've had a really bad sore throat for over a week and yesterday I decided to go to the clinic at SVSU to get it checked out. Last week of fieldwork! 2 more days and I'm done at Stratford. I'm happy and sad. I really enjoyed the 12 weeks at Stratford. Everyone there is so nice. I feel like an actual therapist there. I have never had that much fun being a therapist. I have 3 weeks off before I start my 4th and last fieldwork placement! It's at Dr. Donahue's office in ( Read more... ) -

So I decided to try and update:
Me and Kyle went to Orlando, FL April 28th-May 5th. I went for an OT conference during the weekend and we decided to stay extra days for a vacation.
Wednesday (28th) we arrived in Orlando in the morning and rented a car. We ate lunch at Don Pablo's and it was very yummy! We walked back to the hotel (Hawthorn Suites ( Read more... ) -

Had an awesome vacation in Orlando! So sad to go back home. I want/will move to Florida after graduation for sure. Love the weather. I will write all about my trip when I get home later. :-)

Moved!
Monday me and Kyle moved into an apt in Midland. Very excited! We have been moving things over little by little. We don't have a storage room like we did in Bay City so we have to decide what things we absolutely need and leave the rest at my parent's house. Does anyone know where we can find a cheap couch? We junked the old one when we moved out ( Read more... )
