It rained today. This, ordinarily, wouldn't be a big deal. But this is an area of Houston where some of the local infrastructure is oddly fragile. The phone lines haven't actually gone dead in the past five years or so, but there are lingering issues. Like this:

Hey completely forgot I was supposed to drop you a line. So hey. Sorry the rain is making everything wonky. Hope they fix it.

It should dry out on its own. In three hours, though, it stops being my problem. Then I'm at the farm on slightly-less-crappy satellite Internet, and will be staying there for two weeks or so.

Ah well that's good though. Crappy net connections make me sad.
