Listening to our political/news BBC radio (BBC Radio 4) program today, it's clear that Mitt's campaign abandoned any premise at winning over voters by planning a series of polices or laws to help the country get out of it's current financial and economical crisis

Sometimes it's a position of "vote for the less reprehensible guy". *sighs*

Sadly, this is the case far too often. There was a candidate or two that I felt more appropriately aligned with my views than Obama, but I felt it would be a throw-away vote allowing Romney into office, which I could not have.

Another friend of mine put it fairly aptly. Obama will go down in history as a mediocre president; historical, but mediocre.
