You know.. I'm sure that I learned this somewhere back in like 4th grade Music class or somesuch, but I had forgotten what the actual definition of these terms was. I guess I didn't relize how ambiguous beat was. I'm still left wondering whether I'm correctly describing songs as up-beat or whether I should be saying up-tempo.

Yayness, I finally uploaded a paw-ful of new LJ icons ^.^

They passed out a paper survey here at work. The topic was for something I felt really strongly about. I hand-wrote a couple of paragraphs whilst answering the survey and my paw hurts! Why couldn't it have been an electronic survey? >.< I <3 computers and my ability to type loads faster than I could even dream of writing, and all painlessly

Co-worker B calmly says, "Not without dinner and a movie first."

Co-worker explains his call to me that he's having difficulty with. He even has a screenshot of the error message with him. I glance at the screen shot and then stare blankly at him. Of course, I know the answer, and that there's a knowledge base entry for that exact error message, but I like to joke with him because he's got a friendly demeanor ( Read more... )
