Just because I'm bored, some common spelling mistakes:

Loose versus lose: I want to lose weight so that my clothes will be loose.

Cemetery: There is no "a" in the word cemetery.

It's versus its: It's a pleasant thing to watch a dog wag its tail. The apostrophe in this case is not indicative of possession but rather is reserved for its use ( Read more... )

i just rewatched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.  Wow, what a great movie and a good adaptation of the book!   Unlike the execrable Eragon movie I just saw, this was a faithful adaptation.  It makes me crave the final seventh book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows even more intensely.  I was very disappointed in the first book.  I found it ( Read more... )
