Minor Hot Weather Rant
It has been hot hot hot here all week. Today is slightly cooler 87 degrees at noon instead of 90 plus. But it is also 87 in this apartment with fans running. They're Baaack!
So, I have been hankering for a Hostess cupcake ever since they stopped making them and Twinkies and all the other Hostess stuff. I was pretty happy when I heard that they were coming back. Walking Bruise
I just realized as I was putting away the laundry that most of my clothes are purple, green, black and blue with touches of gray and brown. I dress like a bruise!

October, already?
So, it is October. 2011 is nearly over and I say good riddance. This has been a horrible year. My best friend passed away in February and then I was unemployed for six weeks this summer. Yep, not a year to remember ( Read more... ) -
Good old Yankee ingenuity.

I said goodbye to my best friend tonight.
My best friend Allison passed away unexpectedly last week. I went to her visiting hours tonight and said goodbye. She is going to be cremated. So this is the last time I will see her ( Read more... )
