One of those days where you run into serendipity. On the interstate there was a van painted like the Mystery Machine going in the opposite direction. Then a few minutes later I passed a chartreuse VW van at a gas station. Chartreuse micro bus from Convoy. Woo.

Last night was one of those rare perfect evenings.

Working second shift, I really miss being able to go outside in the evening. It has always been my favorite time of day, especially in late spring when it stays light until 8:30 or so.

I don't care if I AM fifty and have the gray hair and the AARP card to prove it. I refuse to grow up! I am still gonna watch cartoons while eating leftover Chinese food for breakfast and sit at red lights with the car window down and the radio blasting Aerosmith and Guns and Roses.

Long time no post. Awesome Fourth, concert in the park and fireworks. Then came home and watched the Boston fireworks. One of the pieces of music they used was Dropkick Murphy's Shipping to Boston , which is Jonathan Papelbon's "Riverdance" victory music. Fitting in that the Sox won tonight with Papelbon closing. So, I am trying to get back on the diet bandwagon. Today I had 2/3 of a grilled half chicken breast, half a cup of brown rice with a tsp of Brummel and Brown yougurt spread and some lemon pepper Mrs Dash (yummy) about half a cup of cooked frozen spinach and a container of vanilla yougurt.
