Sure, but--

Love is a reward of building a successful relationship with somebody. Lust is having so much sexual relationship, you don't give a damn. It might be chemicals, sure. But it's like FREE BEER. And free beer is by no means overrated.

You know what I am hearing? work...blah..blah Hey sexual and dont give a damn, whats so wrong with that? Free beer truly isnt overrated but if you have to earn it, then is it really free?

Depends on what we mean by the word free. Free, as in price or free as in freedom. I see love totally differently, it's a pyramid. The bottom level is communication, and on that rests respect. On top of respect lies experience, with the very top of the pyramid being that selfish feeling you feel inside that makes you do dumb things. If somebody builds their pyrmamid from the bottom, slowly (read: effort, work) then when the finally get to the top, their relationship is not based on the chemicals firing or not, cause they like to be together anyway for their common base. Achieving that is freedom, and the only type of love for me that isn't a four letter word.

four-letter words aside, cause they have their place in the scheme of things. I dont have a problem with communication, etc. I just think love is blown out of porportion and given alot more credit than it deserves. Love doesnt move the world, Need does. So you can read that I am lazy or whatever, doesnt bother me in the slightest. I do however not want everyone reading this to think that I hate all this good and pure..I do but thats not the point. The point is that I dont believe you need love (At least romantic love) to be fufilled in life. ::shrugs:: Thats my world, I live in it.
