It amazing how quickly these things come around. No sooner is the last of the Christmas turkey leftovers polished off than it’s time once more to dive down the into dark recesses of the rabbit hole. I expect soon there will be cards to commemorate the 27th of January and possibly a day off work (or is that just wishful thinking on my part

You may or may know that I’m a very big fan of Ritchie Blackmore. Especially early Purple/Rainbow. I don’t think that Rainbow were ever the same once Ritchie had fired the diminutive one. Miss you too.

I think that you’ll find that this story is probably an excellent cure for insomnia. So you may want to read it whilst you are still in bed. Are you doing an entry of this year’s RHD?

That was wonderful! I particularly loved the weaving in of the nursery rhyme themes and their origins.

Thank you. Although I personally think that meanders too much and I couldn’t really blend the darker origins of the nursery rhymes into the story as I would have liked. Still, maybe someone more skilled than I will be able to do so in the future.

Well, some might say that I’m full of hot air which may give rise to some levitation. You could also say that my writing leans more towards Hovercraft than Lovecraft.
