This really is the greatest game -

The Game of Manners

I think it is easier to be a gentleman than to be a lady.

I found this on darkvictoria and immediately had to post it here.

Isn't it wonderful! I love how they waddle along. Which gender do you prefer to play? (Tried very hard to make that sentence non-suggestive)

I've mostly been a gentleman except I did do the lady at the park for the promenade. LOL

I've been doing quite well--too many costume dramas, I assume. ;-)

Yes, I wouldn't have managed were it not for my adoration of costume dramas. And I seem to have the natural disposition of a Victorian era gentleman. Which is...odd.

You should know I have not got the time for such amusements! ;-)

Do any of us? Ha ha! Everyone has played, regardless, which is testament to the game's greatness.
But there are wonderful animations! And terribly innapropriate voice-overs. It's so amusing! I loce it.

I love it! It is SO much easier to be a guy - just defer everything to the ladies. Heh heh. Oh, for those days.

The women are so cute, though... so prim!

No, I haven't been playing this for the last... half-hour, just for the amusement factor. The fly in the soup is my favorite... it just looks so pitiful!

I love the riding dress the lady has to wear for her train journey. It is lovely.

I got a bit distraught when I saw the fly. It was so large! I'm sure that my fellow diners would spot it before I fished it out.

Hurrah, isn't it just! I believe I would be the perfect gentleman, if only I had the opportunity.

Awesome! I scored a 971/1000 - 3 mistakes as a lady but a perfect gentleman.

People like these no longer exist, I'm afraid. :P

Wow! That's pretty impressive. Everyone seems to agree that being a gentleman is easier. Seems about right :)

I don't know if it's a great loss that people exactly like this no longer exist, but I still think the modern citizen has much to learn from those dainty little Victorians and their commendable manners.

Er...by the way, I'm actually darketherdream under a new name, not just another random person :)
