Gerry took me out on a date today. As a surprise, she brought me secretively to a Japanese izakaya-esque spot in Kapitolyo. The building and certainly the place was new, but the tables had an intentionally-distressed look and texture about it. Phantom friends
One of my friends moved from Singapore to London last month.
It should make no difference to me, since she is still just a message or a video call away, but somehow I.... *miss* the notion of her being in Singapore.
