Finally: COLOGNE YFC 2011 REPORT

Jul 24, 2011 16:51

YFC - Cologne July 23 2011

So, after a friend cancelled on short notice and I was stuck with an extra card, another friend told me on the day before the live that she would come with me. She does neither know GACKT nor does she listen to this kind of music.

Anyway, we arrived at the venue at 2 p.m., one our later than planned ( Read more... )

No idea. According to them it looks soooooooooooooooooooo hot when G does it with You or Chacha but sooooooooooooo gay with JON, because he's the "white guy".

It was so funny anyway since one of them seemed to be from Russia or Poland. I wasn't so sure about that accent. And then she goes all racist IN Germany ON a fellow foreigner? How stupid is that??

Some of them act as if he was some kind of alien. He works so incredibly well with G.

Russian girls bashing Jon? T___T Well, maybe... our fandom still has some troubles accepting him. But somehow it really upsets me >< I know there were my friend and 3 of her friends, but she does like Jon, and apparently others do, so I think it couldn't be them. Well, I don't know yet in what row they were... There are a lot of Russians in Germany usually, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were more of them.

Thank you for the report ^^ So it seems they really decided to economize on hotels, but are planning to sleep in the venues as well as in the buses..

As I said I THINK they are from that area. Their accent was definitely from around there.

My friend absolutely loved Jon. When I told her about the reactions he got first, she couldn't understand it at all and said that they fit well together.

I rather think they slept in the bus. I just can't picture them getting all cozy in sleeping bags in the venue. XDD But then again....G and his challenges...

The band slept at the venue? O.o
I read they are not using hotels this year to save money but I thought they'd sleep inside the bus instead...xD

I'm glad no one around me took any pictures. It's really annoying and really distracting when people do that. =/

That's what the security guy said. But I'm pretty sure he meant IN the bus and not inside the venue like some school boys on a school trip. lol

I wonder, haha.

I hope there's gonna be another documentary DVD for this tour. Love this sort of "behind the scenes" stuff.

I hope so! But knowing G, there will be one. Everything to rape our wallets. lol But since the tour is bigger this time, I really hope it will be at least a double DVD. :(

Thanks for the report! :) The "Do you want me" part made me smile. I haven't experienced any of his Europe YFC concerts, but I can tell that it takes a lot of work. >< In the end, it's all worth it if you're a dedicated fan. ^^;

What did your friend think about the concert? I'm kinda curious since your friend isn't a GACKT fan. I guess it doesn't really matter since half of the songs are new, right? :3

The rude comments about JON made me sad. :( I hope the band members will never see or hear them, but I'm sure they're well aware of the situation. Hopefully, JON's performance will change their minds. ^^;

Anyways, have some rest! XD

My friend said she didn't understand anything, not even the English parts but since she rocked away, I guess she enjoyed it at least a bit. lol

She was very jealous of the hair and kept on complaining about hers. She also said "Nothing against Gackt but I like Jon better". She liked him a lot and said she liked the SYH ballad and that Vanilla-para song (what's it's name anyway??) the most.

I couldn't really sleep at night. I was so hyped by them. :D I called the other friend that came with me and it's been the same with her. lol I blame G and the boys!

Waaah sounds like an awesome time and I can't wait until London :3

And at the Jon hate :| Ok I've not seen him live yet but it sounds like he's still doing a really good job, you would hope people would be mature enough to give him credit for that even if they don't like him. And also... it makes me wonder what fanservice those guys have been looking at XDDDD

I think you will have an awesome time. Londom comes right after Amsterdam, right? Wednesday? I'll definitely tweet what the live was like. ^^

And yes about thinking that people should be mature enough. Obviously, some aren't. It's sad, really. And disappointing. Not liking someone, okay, but some stuff they said was really close to racism.

The fanservice was hot. Actually hotter compared to what I've seen from other lives so far and the crowed cheered. I BET those haters did too!

Hope you'll have fun in London!! And that the weather doesn't suck. We were lucky yesterday. It's raining non stop today. :-/

Yup and yup, should be tweeting from the queue myself~ XDD

Yeah and yes racism amongst other things, I better not hear anything along the lines of the OMG it's so gay comment >>

I can't wait to see! I've never seen any fanservice live ;; There wasn't any last year (unless I missed it XD) but certainly not as obvious as this sounds so yaaaay >3

Looking at the weath we should be perfectly fine, sunny intervals and 23 degreesC, though showers the next day so hopefully those clouds don't show up early!

Looking forward to the tweets and reports then. ^^

I'm fine with everything but today's weather. It's still raining and hasn't stopped at all here. -.-

sounds like sometimes at concert the organisation just suck... I experienced that, too, a lot of times... but I'm glad you could enjoy the concert anyways...

And well... that the band was already inside since the day before sounds kinda funny... I never heard a band sleeping at a venue but that's interesting... so you at least didn't miss them arrive... ;-)

Have fun in amsterdam!

Oh, the organisation was good, I think. I just didn't get the purpose of "rounding them up" around 2 hours before entrance. If it was for that stupid photo, okay, but they could have put thise barriers away again. I felt like a penguin during breeding at times. lol

I can so picture G telling them to sleep there while he gets all cozy in the bus. XD
