i finally found some good english subs for Jade Warrior.  and i watched it.  my GOD it is amazing!  it is up there with my favorite movies of all time now.  typical finnish story, being how sad it is.  plus it really makes you think.  i love it.  i'm going to read the Kalevala now some more.  kinda hard to read, since it is written in song form.  ( Read more... )

first a vid by the finnish band Bleak (feat Ana Johnsson) which was inspired by Jade Soturi (or Jade Warrior which is what it will be called in north america when it is released there).  it's got some good scenes from the movie.  and yes, it is a real music video they plan on the tv here, not some fan-vid.

Tower Defense - build towers to defend your castle against waves of orcs.  very addictive.  you can build different elements and upgrade the towers.  i've made it to wave 51 so far.
