Went and saw a friends band tonight at the bull and gate or something like that. Kentish town anyway. They were pretty damn good. Prefered them to the headlining act to be honest. I have just made cheese, onion and sage damper. It is nice. Very nice.
I now sit here with a content stomach feeling smug.

Watched Delicatessen last night. A wonderfully black comedy with just the right amount of surreal atmosphere. Jean-Pierre Jeunet impressed me a lot with The City of Lost Children so I was glad to find that this earlier movie was just as stylish and interesting. I shall be picking up a copy of Amelie as soon as I can.

Getting into work for 7am is nasty, especially if work is in London and you live in Cambridge. I think I shall sit here, zone out, and contemplate this cup of tea some more. At least I get to go home early today.
