Anyone modding a community needs to read this.

LJ is at it again. They've introduced a new OPT-OUT 'Spam Protection' feature, which is actually a new privacy setting (found here: http://www.livejournal.com/manage/settings/?cat=privacy ). It automagically screens ( Read more... )

I had to opt out for this feature not only on all the communities I mod but also for my own personal LJ. WTH, Livejournal?? Thanks for the heads up.

It's not so bad with a personal journal because apparently, personal journal holders are receiving notifications of those comments that are being screened (or so I've heard...), so the comments aren't quite disappearing into the ether like they are in comms. *sighs*
