Tagg and I both read Correia's book and loved it!

Would you like a signed copy? He's going to be signing in October about 2 miles from where I live; I was planning on dropping in and saying hi anyway, so I could certainly bring along a copy or pick up an extra one for you.

*ear tufts perk* Ooooh, yes! That would be a GREAT gift for Tagg this Christmas! My mate is a weapons-nut too, I'm sure he'd get a kick out of having a signed copy. :)

Consider it done. Should have I have him make it out "To Tagg" or have him put something else?

And I'll shoot you an email once I know what it'll set me back. =)

See, I'm a gun nut, so I do get all those references, and I'm pretty sure that would even irritate me.

But I think I'll have to try to track down a copy, since it sounds like fun!

Same offer as above applies, if you'd like a signed copy. I can certainly pick one up and get it shipped to you. =)

And that's an awesome icon. I'm definitely not a gun nut, but I have done my share of shooting (just not any in about 10 years now-- I should pick it up again). That icon is great.

I don't care for cooking, but when it's a group activity, count me in. It's fun to create with others. And peach salsa sounds divine.

As previously discussed, I feel the same way about the main characters in Warehouse 13 and Fringe. I'm warming up to them, but I'm glad they have sterling supporting characters.

Hey, have you watched Legend of the Seeker? It's pure fantasy, and I've been enjoying it. It's not cerebral stuff, but I don't expect it to be.

I'll try the new Stargate, but I'm still whining about missing Dr. McKay. :D

I love to cook. My biggest problem is I never really learned to cook for one. So I tend to end up with piles of leftovers. I find it's much better to invite people over and cook for them as then I'm not eating the same thing for a week.

I haven't heard of Legend of the Seeker. I'll have to see if its on hulu. I'm sure there'll be some overlap of characters from Atlantis and SG1 into Universe from time to time. They got almost all the major SG1 characters into Atlantis at least briefly. I still love the Teal'c and Ronon episode where they're stuck on the midway station together.
