I have NO TIME, but I have to tell you guys that I got a new cat.  She's a lot like Mosca, and at the same time not at all like Mosca.  I still miss Mosca like crazy, and I'd trade Niara in a heartbeat to have her back, but I have a feeling that will soon change.  She's winning. 

Big thanks to everyone who posted supportive messages, suggestions, and their own stories on my post yesterday.  I've been feeling rather alone, like I'm standing in crowd of people and my soul is screaming in agony, but no one can hear it.  People can give me sympathetic looks and pat me on the shoulder, but that doesn't really do much for me.  ( Read more... )

I am not handling Mosca's loss well.  Not well at all.  I hear her when I'm at home, the sound of her breathing, the sound of her paws padding across the hardwood floors, her little meow when really it's just kids outside, the sound of her mouth opening just before she gives herself a bath, and the sound of her paws hitting the floor as she leaves ( Read more... )

I just needed to let you know that she's gone.  The vet said that she had a tumor in her gall bladder and that no amount of money could fix it.  So I had the vet put her down this morning, and I held her while she went to sleep.  And I'm heartbroken.  She was my first thing in the morning and my last thing at night.

My automatic payment date was approaching, but I had a busy weekend and haven't turned on my computer in a couple days.  Still, my payment reminder said that my payment date was August 11.  Which is tomorrow.  As in, not yet.  But as I was clicking through my e-mails intending to get back to the one that had the link for me to cancel my paid ( Read more... )

OK, I have to vent.  I just watched the movie My Best Friend's Girl and it was, predictably, horrible.  What made it horrible, however, was not the usual half-assed script/acting troubles that usually grind these moronic romcoms into crapdom.  The main problem was the Jason Biggs character, the so-called "nice guy."
