jesus, what the hell? I had to get up increadibly early today and when i tried to get into my car i accidentally hit the car alarm button on my keychain. I never use my car alarm and don't know how to use it, to make matters worse the tiny battery inside the keychaintrigger device died immediatly after turning the alarm on, so there was no way to ( Read more... )

The Passion of The Christ is in theaters soon - this week on Wednesday.. what do you think about this movie? I'm going to see it for sure - the trailers were enough to convince me. I read somewhere that it's the widest opening ever for a subtitled movie; I have a feeling subtitles won't detract from the full effect of this movie though. After looking at the trailers which have no subtitles or english at all, it was reinforced for me that lack of spoken english in this film won't hurt one bit. To sum up my impression of The Passion: it's a work of art.

Another fascinating aspect to this movie is all the controversy that has been generated about it.
Some people, not really representative of Jewish people, but rather self appointed Jewish spokespeople, such as Abraham Foxman from the Anti-Defamation League, seem to have been attempting to denounce this film for months as being anti-Semitic. First off I have no idea why on earth you would enjoy hearing my opinion, but, since you would here goes...I disagree with ya'll on the subtitles point. Subtitles always detract from a movie, and as much as I want to see it I probably won't cause Mel Gibson is a huge f**king knob, yo. All those s**theads are nuts! Controversy?!? What?! I don't even beleive that Jebus ever even existed, yo. I believe that if he was real he is responsible for spawning vampires who gained immortality from drinking the blood from his wounds as he hung defensless from the cross.
