So what did I learn today?

When your significant other calls you in the middle of the day and starts the conversation with: "I'm a fucking idiot!" the appropriate response is NOT: "Um (pause) not totally." Responding in such a manner will not score you any points, even if you think you're being funny.

Also an acceptable response to, "I'm so fat!"

(Even if he's sitting right in front of me in the living room.)

Hey, you haven't posted since April! Are you gone for good, or coming back? I thought I found another Dark Shadows fan to talk to. I watched Dark Shadows every day after school when I was a kid, and I'm collecting the DVD's. It looks so different to me now, but I still love it.

I'm not gone for good, I just go through periods where I don't do anything on my journal. We'll see If I can improve on that. I changed jobs at the end of April to one where I have no internet connection, so can't do the coffee break posts I used to do in the middle of the day.
