You'll be really appreciated at that kinda job, theres nobody could argue that you dont REALLY know your stuff in a NOC, so you'll know exactly whats needed - only issue would be getting the stuff budgeted and specced properly the first time around without too many "I told ya so" moments...
If you do hit London, do it with some spare cash in your account and think about finding a decent tailor. Nothing spares the irritation of having to work in a suit like being able to do it in one that fits *right*
lol, sorry, I meant London in Ontario, Canada. Unless you know that area up in the .ca from your list of "l33t skills" - I doubt I'll go back to visit the UK again for a couple of years. :(
Fortunately their idea of business professional is just shirt and tie, no jacket. Hopefully that will change to be more like a real networking job and soon.
heh.. it was the "real beer" bit that made me think transatlantic.. What the heck, our canadian cousins at least had the sense to remain nominally royalist so they cant be all bad ;)
If you find yourself anywhere in this area there will be a bottle of homebrew or three with your name on it...
Gods Riki - you have no idea how much I miss you and Kwan. You folks are just great to be around and be laid-back and relax with. :) Plus you know the good Dim Sum places up there - I haven't had decent Dim Sum since that one time with you two. The pitiful excuses for it around here are dreadful. >_<
But I think I'll pass on another bubble tea experience. I was too weirded out by the blobs in it. ^_^ But I definitely need to go rampage in Pacific Mall again.
well, it's only a 3 hour drive to Toronto, thru some nice scenery, so I enjoy the drive as well. Spending time with Kwan and Riki is a *huge* plus - there's no ego contests or any stressful bullshit when I'm visiting there. :)
Now, the London Crew is a bunch of crazed maniacs I miss a lot, too. Some of the drinkingest mofos I've seen since my army days, and great fun too.
I should come kidnap you and drag you up there for drunken debauchery.;P~
heh, Arashi won't be up to real fun driving until I can afford new tires. The RE92's that came with the car are pretty damned worn, I won't try to push it until I get new rubber.
yeah, but I've been unemployed for a while, so my usual roadtrips for amusement weren't in the budget. Plus I needed to be available a lot because of my mom's frequent doctor appointments. Now I need to figure out what tires I want to put on, and to get another set of rims so I don't have to pay as much to switch from snow tires to normal ones. Time to read the NASIOC forums again
