This day usually has me being depressed for most of it, thinking back on events of my time in military service, and the people I met. I always rejoice at the arrival of the month of Oktober. The leaves all turn colours, the air gets that crisp edge to it, and I can once again break out the leather in my wardrobe without sweltering to death when wearing it.
