The first one was the perfect film for Kevin Smith in his 20s, as it was for me. Especially having worked at both a convenience store and a video store, as well as dealing with similar significant other crap. The second is perfect for Smith as he's hitting hitting his 30s, and I think for all of us that are at the same stage of the game.
