Why do people have to share your beliefs so you can hang out with them though?

I'm friends with people from all kinds of religions and I'm neither.

Uh, I never said that in my post. I just said I was different in a lot of ways from the people around me. In that I don't have interest in cars and the same music, or going out drinking etc.

And then that the fact none of them are religious is making the decision for me to convert very hard as I have no one who knows what I -am- going through, and so on.
