Who will play Orpheus to my Eurydice?

Dec 22, 2007 01:41

I know I promised silliness but this insisted on being written. Musey demands to be pleased.

Title: Eurydice
Pairing: Implied Spangel
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Joss encourages us to play in HIS world.
Summary: Post NFA. Angsty drabble. How much would he be willing to give to get what he thought he had always wanted?

If he writes well... )

That was lovely - I'm sure he'll get his wish.

Yep, our favorite vamp is going to get his wish. Even if it takes an eternity, he'll still fight for it.

Will this be the one? Will they finally be pleased?

If he writes well enough, he thinks to himself as he waits by the gates of hell, maybe…just maybe…

…they will let Angel live.

William the bloody awful poet, who can make demons applaud his works. This time, for sure, he will be able to get Angel back!

Dark, and angst ridden, but I have hope for them both. And for a better ending than the Myth as well.

If anyone can do it, it's William. He'll make those demons weep and release Angel even if it's the last thing he does.

And for a better ending than the Myth as well.

Oh no, William isn't going to make that mistake. I have faith in him.

Thanks! The myth is just so fitting for Spike and Angel, don't you think?

He's changed so much from the foolish young man writing about things he hasn't experienced. His words have so much more impact and depth now. I always believe that poetry is like wine. It needs to be aged to acquire its full flavor.
