I’ve got a question. How many of you do not have daily personal, i.e. face-to-face, contact with a spouse, paramour or close personal acquaintance? I think I mentioned that they now have us on an On-Call schedule at work. Each worker is now expected to be ready to come in for any shift on the day that they have been scheduled on the calendar. At least one day out of the month, the worker has to be the primary on-call person or the person they contact first to come in to cover a shift. Also ( Read more... )

 I was already stressed out before I found Isis on Monday. The previous week I noticed that someone had been using my check card number to make unauthorized purchases at gas stations in New York. At first I thought it was an overcharge because it did not list the "Amoco" information but another charge for exactly the same amount ($100.00) appeared ( Read more... )

Isis is back home temporarily. She still has limited use of her back legs but otherwise seems healthy. She is on antibiotics, heart medication and potassium supplements. It is still not confirmed why she so suddenly lost use of her back legs. It may be due to a potassium deficiency or a blood clot. If it were a blood clot, the doctor suspects it is ( Read more... )
