notes on stanford

Recently I visited stanford's applied physics department.  I was pleasantly surprise with the quality of students there, even though I should've been expecting more - I didnt think too highly of Stanford before I came, honestly ( Read more... )

cool! hrm, i heard the same from Quake alum who worked w/him back in his caltech days. in fact, supposedly was way more intense than working for Baltimore >.

john shen! you should have let james gao and i know about your visit... we took kenny yan around when he came for med school interviews, and it would've been cool to catch up with you and see how you're doing, too. but anyways it sounds like you liked stanford (ish?).... awesome. if you are ever out here again we should definitely meet up! :)

i was at stanford over intersession (3/28-3/31), so I couldn't catch up with anyone except grad students =P
