Trying to get back on track
Broke 8000 words today, which makes me a little behind where I should be. I have a write-in tomorrow at the downtown library. Hopefully I can catch up and maybe get a little ahead. YES WE DID!
It's still kind of unbelievable. This is such a huge, huge night for American history. I waited in line for almost two hours to vote and I'm so glad to be a part of this. -

Had a little Halloween party tonight. Then went out to the warehouse district for a bit. Still buzzed.

Prolific Insanity
For the second year, I will be joining in the insanity known as National Novel Writing Month. I will likely be crying by this point next week, but I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end. What I Did on Writing Vacation
I've done a whole lot of nothing the past two weeks. I watched way too much MSNBC and did a lot of channel surfing. It's nice to not have to worry about writing, but I also feel sort of aimless. At 77,648 words, the first draft of Marked For Life is DONE!
Now it's time for a writing vacation until November. Novel done, Birthday and Halloween coming up ... I think I'm going to spoil myself for the next three weeks. :D -

I'm buying all three seasons of Avatar as a birthday present to myself. It's just a matter of how long I can wait until I buy them. The longer I wait, the more it will feel like a birthday present, since my actual birthday isn't for another month. But then again, my friends will buy me things, so I will get more presents later.
