Avatar: The Last Airbender
My latest little obsession is Avatar: The Last Airbender. I've watched it on and off since it started, but amusingly enough, now that the series is over (sigh) I've gotten really interested in it. My writing is going slow, but I'm not stressing about it as much. I figure 500 words a day is a good goal, and since I started on that, every day that I've done writing at all, I've hit goal. Oddly, when I tried for 800 or 1000 words a day, I ended up having days of 150 or 300 something words. Maybe it's the pressure ( Read more... ) -
Okay, So
I'm moving my projected word count to 60,000 for Marked For Life. It's already at 52k.
I'm reading over Crossbreed and there is so, so much rewriting I need to do. :( -

That isn't too bad. This month I plan to do a little less writing so I have time to edit. I've only got three freakin novels that need editing. :P -
The word count was a lie ...
So, the first draft of Marked For Life isn't going to be 45,000 words. Because it's already 48,000 and I'm not done yet. Here I thought I was going to write a story, and it's almost gotten to the size of a novel. -

For all that I like reading, I don't buy many books. I use the library or my friends. But this week I went a little crazy, for me at least. I bought FIVE books, all used.
