You, me, AND Laura Bush. I love walking on fall evenings. My grandma, who was hardly very religious, used to say "Mary's in the wind, bringing her blessings". I always think of that on blustery days.
18 weeks.... we will find out if you are boy or girl soon!
Of course that counts! I just grew up with lemon guac and it stuck, probably because in Argentina everyone has lemon trees in their back yards and I use them in everything else anyway.
Do you knit/crochet? I know crochet is supposed to be much easier than knitting but I am intimidated!
I have been knitting since I was 17 (Continental style, with the yarn held in your left hand) and I self-taught myself how to crochet last fall! Just so I could crochet hats and ruffles :D (Actually, I ended up doing cool half-crocheted, half knit hats which I really love! I made one for iemaja and one for me and I'll probably make some more for my etsy at some point with all the freaking yarn I have in my stash!)
mmm... lemon trees! We bought a Myer tree to plant over Rem's placenta. It isn't doing too great, but it is still alive! No lemons this year, tho. :(
welllll, cuz you dunno if the baby is a boy or girl yet, and imo ruffles are for GIRLS!!!! so...what IF it's a boy?!?!?! you don't want HIM to wear ruffles do you? would you wanna wait till you find out the sex first?? just sayin.....
But if for some reason, you want ruffles regardless, I will give you my blessing however odd I think you are for making a boy wear ruffles, and I will help you and guide you in whatever way I can...because I love you like that. yep. I sure do!
OHHHHHHH, HAHAHA. That makes sense. The ruffles are for a pattern for a large soaker I knitted already with pink wool. It's a protoype as opposed to something I'd put on my kid, you know? I hope to make some money off my knitwear eventually and it's a sweet pattern.
I personally don't like ruffles for boys OR girls, to be honest. But it'd be a good skill to learn and lots of people do like 'em :)

18 weeks already! Woot! Are you going to find out baby's gender before birth?
And thanks for your prayers, I'm sure we could all use as many as we can get :-)
