I know. You were one of the things I had been looking forward to about Berkeley. You, the weather, the beach, the liberal outlook, and bands that seem only to tour the west coast.
Well, I'm glad you'll be around for a while longer. I love you guys! It was getting hard to ignore the fact that you were leaving so soon, and I knew how much I was going to miss you.
Not to get all mushy, and I can't say I'm glad Ben is stuck in this school limbo/hell again (I'm really not, because that sucks sooo hard). But I am rather pleased that there will be a bit more Scrabble (or whatever) in our future than we had thought. :)
Wow, that is a big change! :) But I'm glad you are happy where you are. That's kind-of why I'm still in Seattle. I think I hate it but I just can't leave...
I'm glad you said "think you hate," because of course I don't *really* hate it or I wouldn't still be here. But I don't like coffee, clouds, rain, seafood, hiking, or health food, which are the primary defining characteristics of the area. I do like beautiful scenery, mild winters, cultural activities (e.g., theater), and nerds, which are all also available in abundant supply. :)

If y'all are free Saturday evening, we're having a taco-feast housewarming/birthday shindig, and we'd love it if you guys could make it.

Those seem like reasonable things to like and not like. I mean, I like coffee, but other than that, I'm with you 100%.
