Went to the dr today. Had to do the glucose test. That is the nastiest drink on earth! I HATE sweet drinks. Anyway everything looks good. I lost a pound but Shea wasn't concerned about it. My O.B. has really upset me. We started going to them in June when I first found out I was pregnant. At that time they made arrangements for us to pay as we went until my insurance kicked in on October 1st. They were told up front what the insurance was. Well, I went to the doc on Wednesday. Everything looks great. My blood pressure is 100 over 58. The baby's HB is 155. And best of all I lost 1 pound. My goal is to gain only the baby's weight through the pregnancy. I have my big sonagram on Monday. I should know the baby's sex at that time. I hope so at least. I really want to name the baby. I have more than my fair share of insurance woes right now. My insurance company has been kicked out of the state of TExas. They are in receivorship. That wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that they still owe us $20,000 for the tornado that came thru on May 9 th. So now we have to get insurance before August 24th when our policy cancels. Well, Amanda's party is tomorrow. I can't wait. I'm letting three of her friends spend the night tonight and I'll take them to the party tomorrow where the parents can retrieve them. Well, I saw the O/B again today. They did an ultrasound and the baby is measuring exatly where it should. The baby was also wiggling all over the place so things look good thus far.

I really think it's time for me to go back to work. I hate the guilt trip my darling husband puts on me every day. About how he gets up at 6 AM and goes to work everyday. I wasn't the one who brought up becoming a SAHM he brought it up. I love doing it. But I'm really tired of feeling like I'm not doing anything to help the family financialy. Any ( Read more... )

Well, I had my first OB appointment today. I am seven weeks pregnant. The Dr. has decided I need to take Heparin shots twice a day to avoid another blood clot. That really sucks. But other than that I am hopeful this will be an uneventful pregnancy resulting in a healthy baby.
