People cannot follow simple instructions. The county security officers are driving me nuts. Have been driving me nuts for a week or two now. What I thought was just my allergies looks like it may be a summer cold. One of my co-workers said I looked flushed and I'm running a fever. What a fabulous way to start a weekend.

Nothing sucks like being sick and alternately sweating and freezing in the summer (it is supposed to be over 100 degrees this weekend).

Tuesday night I ended up at Phenyx's house. Woke him up about 2 in the morning when I sat straight up in bed and said, "I dreamed we had an intervention for Alec Baldwin". Seriously. The IT people here managed to fuck up some sort of update they did Friday afternoon...and we lost all our shared drives and printers. They've been "working on it" all day and still haven't fixed the problem. They say we didn't actually lose the data on those drives...just that they aren't showing up on anyone's computer. What fun. I cleaned my cubicle at work today. Threw away a bunch of stuff. Shredded even more. Organized the paperwork and wrangled it back into file folders.
