After much thought and discussion with people I trust...I decided to take the job in North Carolina. I called today to accept the offer and then gave my resignation letter to my boss ( Read more... )

6:30 tomorrow (7/9). We have a table for 12, and a table for 4, and 14 of us reserved, so it might be you and me and tammy at the small table, unless we have two cancellations :-)

Heeeeeee. Come on down, the more the merrier. I'm not sure which party will be crazier...the one with my friends from the local Democratic activist group or the one with my friends from the local polyamory group.

The Democrats drink harder. But they're less likely to show up in vinyl. ;)

Wow. You'll be living not-in-Texas!

Just a couple of weeks ago I helped my friend fenicedautum set up her furniture and new bed at the place she's just moved into after returning to MA from a long sojourn in North Carolina. I guess it's time for someone else to go down there to replace her :)

It will no longer be compulsory to root for the Cowboys. Of course, you will anyway, but it won't be enforced by legislation....
