Someone I used to know very well died last Thursday. I hadn't spoken to her in over 20 years. But when I was in junior high school, I knew her and her husband and her oldest son very well. She was the wife of our youth pastor and I was very religious back in those days. I don't know how this makes me feel. It's weird to think of her as dead. ( Read more... ) -

So Very Tired
So, just a little over five weeks ago, I gave birth. It was a scary emergency c-section birth, but everything turned out okay. Our little man was born at 7:33 am on 05/09/2006. Hmmmm.....our machine has been acting in a very unusual way. Chris can't send any e-mail outisde the Cox "backbone," and neither one of us can post to certain message boards. I feel absolutely empty. Wait..that's not right. I'm full of sadness and guilt. We had to put our little baby kitty Twitch to sleep today. She was positive for the feline leukemia virus, and had been since we got both her and her sister, Spaz, when they were four months old. (Spaz has always tested negative.
