election thoughts...
1) IT'S OVER, THANK YOU.
2) I resent being called an idiot for voting for President Bush. I resent it fully. People have opinions, and just because they are different than yours does not make one an idiot.
3) "Separation of church and state" is not a phrase found in the Constitution ( Read more... )

It's not in the Constitution, it's in the Federalist Papers (#98?). Since these are the best resource we have to the framer's intents, they're also the best guide we have to start interpreting the Constitution.

A small group of people in power should not be allowed to dictate morality for the majority.

Fredrique Bastiat referred to that as being where the "few plunder the many." Also, our founding fathers ( I believe Jefferson ) said, "Beware of the Priest and the Prince." Monarchies and Theologies dictated to the people what to believe, just don't let the same happen to any of us. I believe that even though my choice in candidate won, a government is nothing but a necessary evil and must be looked at frequently to make sure nothing is being abused. When it is, we remove our representatives and our other elected leaders to asure that the ones we put into power follow our sentiment. That is how a Republican Democracy works. Mmm k i'm out.

Why does everyone take that as something that it's not?
Perhaps it is a noble concept, perhaps thats the way it "should be."
Perhaps I should go to class naked tomorrow.
It's just not in the Constitution. That's all I said.

It has become apparent that Liberals continue to BWM. Suck it the fuck up already. Lets work together now. I am no longer gloating for Bush, we're simply better and I don't need to do anything.

Oh that was perfect. Well done.

But what do you expect? Their liberals and will whine until the day they die. Thats just how they do things: Contort the truth, and whine about it until they get their way.
