I think I actually update less often than Mykel, which is pretty damn sad. At least I update more than Mark seems to, although he seems to be taking a moral stance against updating. The Kid went to the doctor last week and he now weighs about 12 lbs (The Kid, not the doctor) and is 23" tall. His birth weight was 9.8 oz and his height (such as it is--I mean, the kid is lazy and rarely even stands up) was 21". All right, the smoke has cleared and the baby honeymoon is over. Lots of people (well, one) have asked me what it is like to have the baby now that the hype has passed. The wait is over and the baby is here. He arrived via standard service on Thursday the 9th at 21" long and NINE AND A HALF POUNDS. Go Svenja! The clock is ticking on many things. For one, me and my Babymomma just came back from the Doctor and he basically said she's ready to pop. She is currently at 34 weeks, but 37 weeks is considered "term" and anything after 32 weeks is considered a safe birth. The kid weighs almost five pounds and the due date is September 23.
