This past Sunday was my first ren faire. That was serious fun right there. I was invited by a lovely couple just getting into their thirties and hanging out with them was like hanging out with my Austin bro and his wife, which was something that was already cool, now made better with the bonus of knowing new people. I am addicted to faires now.

Glad that you love faires so much! I literally did spend my childhood at them and they're part of the reason why I got into going to conventions in the first place. I was actually in an acting troupe that used to do living chess boards at them, which is why I love cosplay chess so much. XD And the weapons!
As to the second paragraph...
I dunno what to say actually. It'll all work itself out?
I'm not very good at giving advice about life and stuff unfortunately...

I might be going back to the Sherwood Forest faire on Saturday, and I've already begun building a pirate getup. It's so fun! I can't wait for TRF or Scarborough, they are supposedly much bigger. Maybe I will see you at one if you still go! And ever since I got back last Sunday my mom has been begging me to join a troupe too. How do you go about it?

And yeah, as for the second half, I think it's all stuff I gotta just experience.

Well, with my troupe just sort of found one and found out when they met up and showed up one day. We did a haunted house every year, it was tons of fun.
I haven't been to a faire in a while, but I do still have all my garb and when my mom is selling at them, I always go with her to help out. I dunno, maybe I'll go to one again sometime soon.
