Having forgotten to do so on Saturday, I checked my mail last night (not email... the real kind, in which you get actual things) and got a bit of a surprise. I make a habit of tossing a large number of unopened envelopes into the trash every day, since at least 90% of the "mail" that I get falls into one of three categories
